It was a rough night in Carlinville for the Greenville University baseball team as they fell 7-3 at Blackburn.
The game was the third and final make-up game between the two SLIAC rivals after the initial three-game series was rained out in March. GU ended up taking two of three games in the series. They are now 11-14 overall and 5-4 in SLIAC play while Blackburn is 7-19 and 3-9. For more information see the April 14, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
