The GHS boys tennis team suffered their first dual match loss at Highland on April 7, falling by a 9-0 count.
Comet Aidan Andris lost No. 1 singles to Grant Fleming 6-0, 6-0 while Elusha Golovay dropped a 6-2, 6-1 decision to Will Lindsco at No. 2 singles.
Carter Manhart dropped a 7-6, 6-3 matchup to Bryant Smith at No. 3 singles with Ivan Powell falling 5-7, 6-4, 10-8 to No. 4 singles player Jack Meyer.
Tayshaun Wells lost 4-6, 6-1, 10-1 at No. 5 singles to Breckin Box while Camden Walker dropped a 6-3, 7-6 match to Thomas Mitchell. For more information see the April 11, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
