A three-game home series sweep of SLIAC foe Westminster College has the Greenville University baseball team at 4-0 to start the conference season.

They sit atop the league standings with Fontbonne at 5-1 and Webster at 3-1 just behind them.

“It feels really good, the guys played super today,” said GU coach Lynn Carlson after Saturday’s contest. “We got some big performances, clutch hits and good pitching performances, so it was a great day.” For more information see the April 4, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
