It was a rough outing against the undefeated Knights from Breese (Mater Dei) at the GHS softball diamond on March 30.
The visitors plated nine runs in the opening inning and tacked on one in the second to take an early 10-0 lead before eventually scoring their final run in the top of the seventh to beat the Lady Comets 11-1.
Hannah Potthast and Emma Wilfong each had a pair of hits while Holly Dunn, Haylee Clark, Anna Turner and Zoee Englert all had one. For more information see the April 4, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
