Creative Stitchers offers instruction and companionship

Needle crafts are popular. But sitting at home and trying to figure out a project pattern can be frustrating and lonely.

Creative Stitchers had existed since 2006 to help solve those problems. Once a month members gather to sew, to visit, and to learn a new skill or project.

Long-time seamstress Grace Haines and former DeMoulin sewer gives a lesson on a new project, and members work on theirs during the meeting. It’s easier to ask for help from Grace or the person sitting next to you than it is to keep restarting a YouTube video. And visiting with friends while you work makes it all more enjoyable.
