Finally, after a three-week run, the four major college basketball tournaments will wind down within the next few days. Out of 20 million brackets submitted to ESPN, 37 correctly chose the Final Four.
Parity is the operative word for this year’s Final Four with the survivors having the second-highest accumulative seeding since 2011. This is the first Final Four with three first-time participants (FAU, San Diego State, Miami) since 1970. It is also the first time since 1973, that no No. 1, No. 2, or No. 3 reached the Final Four.
