On Friday and Saturday, the GU softball Panthers took on Central College and Simpson College. They did not find much success against their talented opponents, losing both doubleheaders 4-3, 8-0 to Central, and 10-1, 4-3 to Simpson.
In the first game on Friday against Central, the top of the Panthers lineup went down in order, and Central took the lead in the bottom of the inning.
Central scored one run on one hit, but Greenville limited the damage as they stranded three runners. For more information see the March 28, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
