The Greenville High School girls soccer team opened up their season Tuesday afternoon at Tom Doll Field but fell to Breese (Central) 4-0.
“It was a bit of a slow start for us, but I thought we fought really well in the second half,” said GHS coach Chris Swift. “We will learn that if we come out and compete with other teams like we did in the second half, then we will be in games and give ourselves a chance.”
