Sixth-year Greenville High School softball coach and his Lady Comets open their 2023 spring campaign today with a home game against East Alton (Wood River).
GHS will be an inexperienced team this season after losing several starters from last season’s 14-16 squad.
“I think we’ve got a lot of young girls with a couple that have experience from last year,” began Dannaman. “We’ve got Hannah (Potthast) leading us off. She’s been kind of a stable part of our offense and defense for the last three years, I’m looking forward to seeing what she does this year.
