GU softball splits weekend set

The Panthers hosted Rose-Hulman in a Saturday doubleheader, and despite losing the first game 7-5, they found their groove and won game two 9-1.

The home opener started out with stranding two runners on base in the top of the first inning, and Greenville then left two runners on the base-paths in the bottom half as well.

The second inning did not go as well: Rose-Hulman scored three runs on three hits to take an early lead. For more information see the March 14, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
