The city of Greenville has a new street sweeper!
Effective immediately, the new sweeper will clean streets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout city limits. City staff has coordinated with Doty Sanitation to make certain trash pickup and street sweeping does not occur on the same day in the same portion of the city. To ensure ease of access for the street sweeper, the city asks residents to not leave trash cans out other than the assigned days. Additionally, the city requests residents who park on the street, to avoid doing so on sweeping days, if possible.
