It was another big competitive weekend for the boys and girls track teams at Greenville High School as they traveled to Charleston to take part in the EIU High School Boys Invitational.
Boys results:
Mason Price had the best finish of any GHS athlete as he took 12th place out of 45 participants in the shot put with a heave of 12.39 meters or 40 feet 6 inches. Mitchell Myers of Arcola won with a toss of 16.74 meters.
Matriccs Green ran a 26.20 in the 200 meters to finish 30th in a large field of sprinters. He came back in the 60 meter hurdles and ran a 10.12.
