The Greenville Lady Comets were very familiar with teams in the girls basketball state championships last weekend at CEFCU Arena on the campus of Illinois State University in Normal.
GHS squared off with three of the four teams in the Class 1A and 2A state title games this past season.
In Class 1A junior Alayna Kraus had 21 points while senior Megan Rennegarbe scored 17 to lead Okawville to the state championship thanks to a 56-35 win over Christopher.
