Small midwestern towns celebrate differently from giant coastal cities. One popular event is the Farmers Market.
The Greenville 2023 Farmers Market season opens May 6 and will operate the first Saturday of each month through October.
Rosie Baker will direct this year’s events. She graduated from Greenville University and has worked at the library and at various other local businesses. She owns The Freckled Press, a screen printing and embroidery business. Baker said “I’m excited to see where the Farmers Market event will go. We hope to grow and get more people — both vendors and visitors — involved in this wonderful community activity.”
