Two teams from the Greenville Junior High Scholastic Bowl team finished in the top eight out of 25 teams after pool play in Mater Dei Scholastic Bowl Tournament at Breese on Feb. 4.
The Greenville A team won all four of their pool play games with wins over All Saints Academy (Breese) (205-65), St. James (Millstadt) (160-80), Nashville (195-10), and St. Rose (225-60).
The B team had a record of 3-1 in pool play with wins over O’Fallon Fulton B (140-110), Carlyle (130-35), St. Mary’s (Mt. Vernon) (100-10), and a loss to Queen of Peace (Quincy) (95-160). For more information see the February 7, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
