GU Mens’ basketball battled a dominant conference opponent, Webster (10-10, 7-2), and came away with a close victory over the Gorloks 86-84.
The Webster Gorloks looked solid to start the game as they went up with a 17-8 lead in the first five minutes.
Shortly after, the Panthers took the lead with the help of a pair of threes from Travis Dickey and one from Jarred Johnson. After the Panthers took the lead, the two teams went back and forth until halftime. For more information see the February 3, 2023 edition of The Greenville Advocate.
