After a tough first half, the GU Panthers overcame a 20-point deficit and sent the game to overtime, but were unable to hold on to their slim lead and fell to Fontbonne 117-114.
Early in the first half, the Panthers jumped out to a six-point lead at 14-8, but Fontbonne quickly recovered. With just under eight minutes left in the half, the Griffins were up 43-26.
