Greenville Fire release end of year report

The Greenville Fire Protection District has released its end-of-the-year report for 2022. There were a total of 286 calls, which was above average.

There were a total of 10 structure fires, 11 vehicle fires, 13 grass/brush fires, and one trash fire; mutual aid was given 29 times for fire, four times for rescue, and four times for standby. There were a total of 28 good intent calls, eight rescue calls, 30 assist EMS, 0 standby, five false alarms, 12 system malfunctions, 75 system activations, six CO alarms, 23 spills/leaks/etc, one smoke scare, three canceled en route, and another 23 calls listed as other.
